An independent nonprofit, was founded by the Reinstein and Larkin families in 2004. ADAO remains dedicated to raising public awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure, advocating for an asbestos ban, and protecting asbestos victims’ civil rights through our education, advocacy, and community initiatives. As these diseases are life-altering, occupational diseases, CanSAV recognizes the need to accelerate access to health and compensation services through shared, community resources. The Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation, a registered charity, was founded by people personally affected by mesothelioma. We raise awareness about the link between mesothelioma and asbestos, and support those affected by mesothelioma.
